Against Colin Kaepernick
While many people were in sync with Colin Kaepernick's line of thinking, others were not so supportive of the protest he is continuing to perform. Many people, including hall of fame coach Mike Ditka were very upset with the motive behind Colin's protest. People opposed to Kaepernick's protest feel that he is disrepecting the American flag and the country. People feel that Kaepernick's protest against the national anthem is disrespecting military veterans and current military in the service by kneeling during the anthem. Kaepernick's recent news regarding him not voting in this year's election sparked outrage from people, especially ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith claiming that Colin's decision not to vote in the election gives no substance to his protest and undermines the message he is trying to send. He is still protesting, but more and more people are starting to pay no attention to it since Kaepernick has done nothing past kneeling to find a solution to the problem.
